Being the lord of 6th as well as 3rd house, mercury does not remain as an auspicious planet. Hence, it is generally not recommended to wear Emerald or Panna for a person with Aries ascendant or Mesh Lagna.

Taurus Ascendant

Mercury is the lord of 2nd and 5th House for Taurus ascendant or Vrish lagna.

Since this is among the lord of 2nd and 5th houses, mercury would be really auspicious in this situation. Mercury can also form raj yoga here.

It is good for a person with Taurus ascendant or Vrish lagna to wear Emerald or Panna. .

Gemini Ascendant

Mercury is the lord of ascendant and 4th House for Gemini ascendant or Mithuna lagna.

Mercury is being lord of two Kendra houses and hence a raj yoga planet for Gemini ascendant or Mithuna lagna. Mercury is most auspicious planet for Gemini.

If Mercury is placed either of Gemini or Virgo, then Bhadra Yoga is formed which is known to one of the most five powerful yoga in Indian astrology.

Above conditions are really good to wear Emerald. It would be really essential to wear Emerald when mercury is in 7, 10, 6, 12 houses.

Cancer Ascendant

Mercury is the lord of 3rd and 12th House for Cancer ascendant or Karkat lagna.

Mercury is a malefic planet for the person born with this ascendant, hence it is generally not recommended to wear Emerald or Panna.

If Mercury is placed in own house or in conjunction with 6th or 8th lord, then good results can be expected.

Leo Ascendant

Mercury is the lord of 2nd and 11th House for Leo ascendant or Simha lagna.

We always recommended to wear Emerald or Panna to the person born with Virgo ascendant or Kanya lagna.

Libra Ascendant

Mercury is the lord of 9th and 12th House for Libra ascendant or Tula lagna.

If Mercury is placed in Gemini or Virgo then Mercury will do benefits to the person born with Libra ascendant or Tula lagna. Otherwise Emerald or Panna is not recommended

In modern astrology we do recommend Emarald or Panna along with Diamond if weak 9th house causing unfortunate events in one’s life.

Scorpio Ascendant

Mercury is the lord of 8th and 11th House for Scorpio ascendant or Vrischik lagna.
